Production plant for microbial additives
UTG supported Lactosan GmbH & Co KG over the entire four-year project duration in the realization of this major project, which was completed on schedule despite the challenges posed by the pandemic.

Pulp production
Replacing the wire section support frame
UTG received an order from the pulp producer austrocel Hallein to replace the entire support frame in the wire section with stainless steel structure.
The result after the conversion was a wire section that was perfectly integrated into the machine, an optimised process for the wire feed and numerous improvements in operability and ease of maintenance.

Construction of a new copper electrolysis plant
The new copper electrolysis plant was planned for a customer in China. The plant comprised 720 electrolysis cells in 8 groups and 3900 pipes.

Production plant for polyaluminium chloride and ferric chloride
An international customer from the chemical industry commissioned UTG with the planning and project management for the construction of a greenfield plant for the production of polyaluminum chloride and ferric chloride in Hungary.

Slitter winder modifications
Renewal and optimisation projects in the winder sector are among the standard services of the UTG mechanical engineering division. The following projects have been realised for Austrian and European customers, among others:

The saturated steam and hot water pipes of a district heating decoupling system in an Austrian pulp mill were planned and statically calculated by UTG.
